Ciputra Group stated its readiness and commitment to contribute at national strategic project, National Capital City (IKN) Archipelago as part of private sector’s role in developing the project. In the early stages, Ciputra Group plans to invest a 300-hectare property project.

This commitment was conveyed by Managing Director Mr. Budiarsa Sastrawinata in front of Mr. President Joko Widodo, at “Pre-Market Sounding IKN Project” in Jakarta, Tuesday (18/10). The event was also attended by several Ministers and national businessmen. President directly asked Mr. Budiarsa the Ciputra Group investment commitment.

“I haven’t heard the real commitment yet from Ciputra. Ciputra Group. Mr. Budiarsa, how many hectares? I saw that it was still floating, you know,” said Mr. President.

Mr. Budiarsa then answered the question, “300 hectares, Mr. President”.

Hearing this commitment, President Jokowi then delivered his statement again. “300 hectares? Really, sir? 300 hectares. Yes, it maybe the first, but 300 hectares is wide enough. As long as it starts immediately, Mr. Budiarsa,” said Mr. President.
