CTRA Distributes Rp157.5 Billion Dividend from Net Profit in 2020
A leading property company with various projects spread throughout Indonesia, PT Ciputra Development Tbk with issuer code CTRA at The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) electronically held on Thursday, 29th July 2021, at Ciputra Artpreneur Jakarta, has approved distribution of dividends to shareholders in the amount of Rp157.5 billion, or Rp8.50 per share. This dividend is around 12% of allocation of net profit at 2020 financial year.
In 2020, CTRA recorded a net profit of Rp1.3 trillion, of total revenue Rp8 trillion. The revenue was derived from property development segment which includes sales of residential houses, shop houses, lands, apartments and office buildings, which amounted to Rp6.5 trillion. Meanwhile, revenue from recurring income segment which includes shopping centers, hotels, office rentals, and hospitals reached Rp1.4 trillion.
Then throughout 2020, CTRA launched several new projects and clusters, namely Ciputra Mall Tangerang, Ayodya Cluster, Seminyak, Benoa, Champa, Villa Kuta Indah, and Villa Nusa Indah at Citra Maja Raya project, Elecio Cluster at Citra Garden Puri Jakarta project, Avante, Viale, Ruko Academia, and Fountain clusters at CitraRaya Tangerang project, Lotus Tower at CitraGarden City Jakarta project, Delft Shop Office at CitraLand City Losari Makassar project, Orinoco, Rhine and Tiber clusters at Citra Sentul Raya project, and Red Terracotta cluster at project CitraLand Tallasa City Makassar. It’s believable for maintaining the stability of CTRA’s income and provide benefits to local economy.
President Director of CTRA, Candra Ciputra said marketing sales during semester 1-2021 achieved Rp. 3.6 trillion, or has reached 61% of annual target at Rp. 5.9 trillion. “Achievements during semester 1-2021 increased 77%, compared to semester 1-2020. We are optimistic this positive trend will continue until we reach marketing sales target in 2021. We have several supporting factors include a good company reputation, experienced management, in-depth study of market interests, readiness of digital marketing team, innovation and development of product concepts, and also supported by various government policy incentives,” said Candra Ciputra.
Company Director and Corporate Secretary Tulus Santoso added, to support the achievement of marketing sales targets in 2021, CTRA has launched 2 new projects, namely CitraLand Mark Ciracas apartment project covering area of 7 hectares in East Jakarta and CitraLand Puncak Tidar residential project covering area of 32 hectares in Malang. In addition, Company also launched new clusters in recent projects, namely Neo Paloma, Andora, Faraday, and Girona clusters at CitraRaya Tangerang project, Monterrey cluster at CitraLand Cibubur project, Resvara cluster at Ciputra Beach Resort (Bali) project, Spring Dale cluster at CitraGarden City Malang, Volga Cluster at Citra Sentul Raya, Taman Kuta Indah Cluster at Citra Maja Raya, and Clarke Quay Cluster at CitraLand Gama City Medan. “The launching of new project and cluster were successful because those products were in high demand by market. We will continue to review the development of new product concepts and implement digital sales strategies to achieve this year’s target,” said Tulus Santoso.
