CIPUTRA LIFE, EXPANSION OF CIPUTRA GROUP IN INSURANCE BUSINESS

As a major player in property and automotive industry in Indonesia for more than 35 years of work in Indonesia, Ciputra Group and Tunas Group collaborated to launch Ciputra Life, a company focused on providing life and health protection, to build a better future for Indonesian families . This launch also signifies the commitment of these two big groups to take part in the life insurance industry in Indonesia.

The launch was attended by OJK representatives, banking, finance and property colleagues, Board of Directors and commissioners of Ciputra Group, Tunas Group and Ciputra Life, as well as representatives of TV, print and online media in Indonesia.

Based on the report of the third quarter / 2016 of the Association of Life Insurance Indonesia (AAJI), the life insurance industry revenues increased by Rp 158.65 trillion, up 78.1 percent compared to the same period in 2015. AAJI predicts growth of 10% 30%. This creates great opportunities for business groups in Indonesia to expand its business into the life insurance industry.

Life insurance penetration rate in Indonesia in 2016 only reached about 2 percent of total gross domestic product (GDP) of Indonesia. We believe Ciputra Life can be one of the companies that will have the right football to be monitored in the future. ”
