Ciputra University of Surabaya Successfully Holds “Ciputra Film Festival 2022”
The Faculty of Communication (FIKOM), Ciputra University of Surabaya held a spectacular event, namely “Ciputra Film Festival (CFF) 2022”, which took place on May 31st – June 4th, 2022 in a hybrid manner, at Ciputra University of Surabaya. The event which was held in the framework of 5th Anniversary of FIKOM UC Surabaya received high enthusiasm from all young filmmakers in Indonesia.
From as many as 198 fictional films collected, 26 films will be selected and submitted to screening stage as well as they became the nomination for CFF 2022 consisting of 20 short fiction films and 6 documentaries films. The selected works will be reviewed by seasoned Indonesian directors, including Riri Riza, Rahabi Mandra, Wahyu Agung, Robby Ertanto, and others.
The awarding night for the best works took place on June 4th, 2022, which was attended by Deputy Mayor of Surabaya, Mr. Ir. H. Armuji M.H. He encouraged that such events can be continued to carry on in order to grow young people’s creativities. The award-winning films will be live on the Maxstream platform for 3 months.
