Ciputra Artpreneur Jakarta will hold a talk show “Artpreneur Talk 2018”, on February 14, 2018 coming at Ciputra Artpreneur Theater Jakarta. “Artpreneur Talk 2018” will discuss the topic of millenial generation’s role in building the nation’s economy through the theme “Converting Millennials Into New Brand Lovers”.

On its debut this year, President Director of Ciputra Artpreneur Rina Ciputra Sastrawinata said the program is a form of Ciputra Group’s concern in encouraging economic growth in Indonesia.

According to him, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is currently targeting economic growth in Indonesia 2018 of 5.4% or an increase of 2017 target of 5.1%. Future economic growth depends on the consumer that is now controlled by millenial generation or commonly known as Y generation (free generation).

The emergence of millenial generation to make business actors have to rack my brain because the characteristics of this generation is very dynamic. So, there needs to be a solution for a successful business run in the millenial era.

“Well, Artpreneur Talk is an annual event that provides interesting, educational and diverse content on the latest hot topics. This is one of our contributions to Indonesia, “said Rina Ciputra.

Millenial generation is the main theme because young people who are synonymous with technology literacy and pop culture are Indonesia’s enormous potential power. The National Family Planning Coordinating Board (BKKBN) noted that Indonesia will get demographic bonus, that is, the age of the labor force (15-64 years) reaches 180 million (70%) by 2020-2030.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian population aged between 15-34 years is very large, reaching 34.45%. Artpreneur Talk 2018 event will be opened by Ciputra as the founder of Ciputra Group.

Ciputra will explain about Indonesia’s current economic condition that is going on transition from conventional business pattern to digital business.

“Indonesia is one of the biggest economic strengths in Southeast Asia so it has an important role in the global level.Being to note is the business situation in Indonesia is in the transition era of conventional or traditional based business into the digital era.Transition requires special tips for business people can remain competitive and become a winner, “said Ciputra.

Meanwhile, Piotr Jakubowski explains the importance of the role of ICT world in the millenial era. He considers Indonesia has two main potentials that can be a power of millennial generation and utilization of digital technology as a future business model, driving the growth of the economy.

“In developing a business in the digital age whether it is startup or other business, it is important to have differentiation.This is where millennial generation has an important role because they usually have brilliant ideas that are creative and often unthinkable,” Piotr said.
