Indonesia-Vietnam Friendship Association 2025 Successfully Held at Raffles Hotel Jakarta
The international event Indonesia-Vietnam Friendship Association (IVFA) 2025 was successfully held at Raffles Hotel Jakarta, Monday (24/2/2025). The IVFA Gathering 2025 theme “70th Anniversary of Indonesia-Vietnam Diplomatic Relations” because it coincided with 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Vietnam which have been established since 1955.
Also present at this event Mr. Armanatha Christiawan Nasir (Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia), Mr. Nurul Ichwan (Deputy for Investment Promotion, Ministry of Investment/BKPM RI), Mr. Budiarsa Sastrawinata (Chairman of IVFA & Managing Director of Ciputra Group), Mr. Ta Van Thong (Ambassador of Vietnam to Indonesia), the ranks of Senior Directors of Ciputra Group, and entrepreneurs.
In his remarks, Mr. Budiarsa said IVFA Gathering 2025 aims to strengthen bilateral relations and celebrate Indonesia-Vietnam collaboration in various sectors, namely economy, culture, education, and sports. He also informed currently trade and investment relations between the two countries continue to grow rapidly.
“Based on data, total value of bilateral trade between Indonesia and Vietnam in 2024 reach USD 16 billion, or 16% increase from previous year. We are optimistic that Indonesia and Vietnam will be able to achieve bilateral trade target of USD 18 billion in 2028,” he said.
